In 2023 Carol Yee, owner of Carol’s Collectibles Nursery, passed away and left her business,  home and botanical collection to her housemate, Evie King, Evie is an expert lilac propagator and knowledgeable nurserywoman with many years of experience form any years in her business, Syringa Plus Lilacs. Bloomin' Root Nurseru

In spring of 2024 Evie launched Bloomin’ Root Nursery in the same location, 411 Nickerson Road, Swannville Maine. The new business will meld and merge these two plantswomen’s passion for landscape plants including trees, shrubs, perennials and more. Evie will continue to pursue lilac propagation as well as run the nursery.

Yup. In spite of the late March snow we’re getting ready for spring here at Bloomin’ Root Nursery.
